Hey Party People,
We're looking forward to seeing you here soon! Here is a quick update to make sure you get to the resort soundly.
1. For those of you taking the complimentary airport shuttle. After you pass through customs be sure to take the exit to the right, which says Public Arrivals Area (pictured below), not the Hotel Transfer exit.
After you exit thru the Public Arrivals Area exit, Shorty and/or his drivers will be outside with signs that say "Shorty Tours" in Area A. He has a group list which will be cross-referenced before you board. Tips are appreciated.
Shorty Tours
Phone: (876) 372- 3360
Email: ShortyTours20@gmail.com
Pick up times will be 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 6:30 pm. If you arrive right before a departure but think you might not make it in time due to processing, please contact Shorty when you land and he may delay the next departure for you to ensure each van is at it's capacity before departing.
* Sign into the airports free Wi-Fi when you exit the plane to make sure you have access to WhatsApp so you can contact Shorty if anything.*
2. Please join the WhatsApp Group Chat if you haven't.

3. If you miss a shuttle time and do not want to wait the best option is Nexus Tours. They have an airport Kiosk or you can reserve a ride online. Shared rides start at 15 pp.
** Travel tip: Keep a photo copy of your passport away from the original, just in case.
Hey Beautiful People,
We're 5 days away from the big day!
We will be arriving on Monday 5/9 and are working closely with Royalton to make sure things will be immaculate for you.
This will be our last pre wedding message. Please review the 3 points below to make sure we can take care of you and that we're all on the same page for next week : )
1. For those of you arriving at Montego Bay on May 10th (and staying at the Royalton), we have arranged a complementary airport transfer for you.
After you exit the airport Shorty and his drivers will be outside with signs that say "Shorty Tours". He has a group list which will be cross-referenced before you board. Tips are appreciated.

2. We've created a WhatsApp group so we all can have a central point of communication in Jamaica. Please join the group on your phone via this link & share it with your party members:
https://chat.whatsapp.com/EI4NBdQtHFQGJBZW9Gk1FW
Feel free to introduce yourself and be sure to @ anyone you want to message directly after joining e.g. @Ras McCurdie or @Keyanna Murrill
3. Jamaica no longer requires a Covid Test to enter but you do need a negative antigen test result to return to the US (taken 1 day before travel).
If you are returning home from The Royalton, they take care of everything onsite for an additional fee at their nurses station. You can scan a QR code at the station to schedule a testing time.
If you are staying with us at Sandy Haven they have testing within walking distance please feel free to contact them if you have questions. Contact info at the link above.
They also have various offsite locations for Covid testing as explained on this page. It showcases major sites, but there are also many official smaller ones if you opt to test offsite.
Please review Our Itinerary again and Travel Info pages.
And of course, if you want to get us a little something something we have both a Macy's and Amazon wedding registry.
With love,
The Future Ras & Keyanna McCurdie
Hey Awesome People,
Who's ready for May 12th, 2022!?
As one of our gifts to you for joining us to celebrate our union. Keyanna and I are setting up airport transfers for those of you staying at Royalton and arriving on May 10th at Montego Bay Airport.
We're arranging airport transfers to the resort (not return transfers) for you with Shorty Tours (check out his trip advisor ) based on when the majority of you are arriving. The pickup times will be 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 6:30 pm. If you miss one, please contact Shorty immediately, as you will have to wait for the next one. You can arrange your return to the airport with Shorty yourself or with our backup Nexus Tours.
The best way to communicate in Jamaica free of charge is via WhatsApp, which you can download to your phone from The Apple App Store or Google Play. You can use it to reach out to Shorty if you have any questions and to find him when you arrive (He will have a "Shorty Tours" sign outside). We will also create a channel on WhatsApp in Jamaica for the wedding.

Also, Jamaica has lifted its travel restrictions as of April 16th, meaning that you will not have to show proof of a negative Covid PCR test to travel there. However, you will still have to provide a negative Covid PCR test to return to The States.
Royalton provides onsite testing at their nurse's station for those of you returning from there. They will inform you of the procedure upon your check-in but do ask in case things are busy.
For those of you joining us at Sandy Haven for the 2nd leg there is a testing site across the street.
If you haven't filled out the Questionnaire please do it as soon as possible. Please note that airport transfers and excursions will be booked in the next few days. We need to receive your questionnaire by April 25th, to ensure your airport transfer or attendance to the excursions.
And if you haven't booked your stay at Royalton yet, please email Osheen asap. Please know that, due to the timing, there is no guarantee you will receive our group rate, but it's still worth a try.
Please Review Our Itinerary again and Travel Info pages, there are some updates.
And of course, if you want to get us a little something something we have both a Macy's and Amazon wedding registry.
Peace & Love,
Keyanna & Ras
Hey Beautiful People,
We're almost a month away from Keyanna and Ras' wedding day, May 12th, 2022!
We were able to extend the deadline to April 15th to finalize things with the hotel. We're also being very hands on with room selection and need a final count for our group by April 15th to ensure the resort will be able to give you choice accommodations.
Please review this list below even if you've already completed most of the steps:
1. Book your first stay - Royalton Reservation Information. They will release our block next week and new editions may not be able to get the group rate.
2. Fill out our Questionnaire - We want to pay for your airport transport to the resort (if you are arriving on May 10th) and a complementary excursion on May 11th, if you'd like to join us. Please do this by Monday April 11th. We may not be able to confirm your complimentary excursion or airport transfer if the information is received later than April 11th.
3. Second leg stay at Sandy Haven - Please book your second stay with Sandy Haven soon. In the questionnaire let us know if you will be staying at Sandy Haven with us or at another resort.
4. Review our Itinerary - Details about what we have planned.
5. Review our Travel Info page - What you need to do/know to travel to Jamaica.
6. If you want to get us a little something something we have both a Macy's and Amazon wedding registry.
Thank you for being amazing,
Keyanna & Ras
Hey Lovely People,
Keyanna and Ras are getting married on May 12th, 2022 and you're receiving this message because we love you and want you to join us.
We've sent out a few messages to people who have already rsvp'd (please feel free to review announcements below) and because were approaching the finish line we're sending this to everyone we've invited.
We realize some of you may be planning on surprising us last minute or are planning on being there in spirit - registry information below ;)
We would like to know if you are planning on celebrating with us by March 31st so we can get an accurate guest count. It's looking like we may have more guests than we originally thought and we need to prepare for that blessing.
You can let us know your plans by completing our questionnaire to the best of your ability. We also have a few awesome things planned for you, and we need your input. e.g., your flight info, shirt size, food allergies, plans on staying longer with us, etc.
We made a couple of updates to the questionnaire. If you already filled it out you don't need to do so again, but please let us know if you have any food allergies, and we will note them. (rasenochmccurdie@gmail.com)
There is more information on the 2nd leg hotel at Sandy Haven here and an updated itinerary. We're gunna turn up!
It's also imperative you reserve your room at Royalton before April 12th, to insure your stay is within our block of rooms.
We're besides ourselves with excitement and if you would like to give us a gift we have two gift registries, one at Macy's and the other at Amazon!
Thank you in advance to all who will be joining us in Jamaica, those who will be there in spirit and for any gifts gifted to us.
With love,
Keyanna & Ras
Hey Beautiful People!
We just returned from Jamaica and it was paradise.
With only a couple of months left until the wedding, we went to make sure everything would be copacetic for your stay and our big day…we were not disappointed. See pics below.
We loved it. The resort was beautiful. It was honestly more than we expected & we’re very excited to have our wedding there.
The staff was very nice. The food varied between ok to really good. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous & the wedding event locations were exactly what we envisioned. We even got to see an actual wedding reception.
We did find that Royalton has a moisture issue with some of the rooms and that gave us concern. We met with the resort manager & head housekeeper (personal tours) and found out it's been a concern since the resort opened 5 years ago. It’s something that can happen island wide.
If it was just us, we wouldn't have had a problem with it, but we want our guest to be happy with no issues. After much due diligence, (we toured 4 other resorts and personally inspected over 15 Royalton rooms) Royalton remains our choice for our big day.
The resort manager has assured us that we will be able to cherry pick (and personally inspect) the rooms selected for everyone before you arrive in our preferred buildings to ensure no one will have an issue.
There were no other issues and our visit was seamless. Their Covid policy and testing was on point from arrival to departure.
Also don’t forget to fill out our questionnaire so we can provide airport pickup for you (arrival not departure) and find out if you want to join us for excursions/ second leg.
We decided not to stay at Legends for the 2nd half as we found something we liked better on the 7 mile beach, “Sandy Haven” booking information here. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please let us know if you have any issues with canceling your reservation.
That said, check out some of these breathtaking photos below that we took during our stay!

Hey Beautiful People!
We're very excited that things are moving forward and we will be visiting Jamaica in a couple of weeks for planning.
We are in the process of finalizing our excursions (one complementary) and solidifying courtesy airport transport for all guest arriving on May 10th, 2022.
1. Pease complete this questionnaire by March 1st to let us know your travel plans and interest in joining us on a couple of excursions in Jamaica.
2. Review our updated itinerary page for new information on the adventures we're planning!
3. We are also planning a second leg to the trip and will be staying at Legends Negril
May 13th - 16th to get less of a resort and more of a local vibe.
If you would like to join us please follow the instructions on the Legends Booking Info page after completing the questionnaire.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Keyanna & Ras
Hi Beautiful People!
May 12th is fast approaching and Keyanna and I would like to check in a bit to let you know where we are on our end. First off, we want to clear the air regarding recent reviews that we have seen of Royalton Negril. We have already done extensive research on the best venue to hold our special day and we chose Royalton Negril from a long list because of their all inclusivity, location, wedding packages, and good reviews at our initial time of booking.
Apparently, they had an incident back in December/January which garnered some negative reviews (a few of our guest have also pointed this out to us). Travel requirements during Covid has also been a point of contingency. Please rest assured we have contacted Royalton regarding this and have been assured that the reason for the negative reviews has been handled.
As of late, there have been a number of positive online reviews & experiences which has put our hearts at ease. Keyanna and I will also be visiting Jamaica early March to make sure Royalton will be able to deliver the wedding of our dreams.
Please continue as usual in booking and trust that we are the most apparent in making sure our big day will be fantastic. If anything should need to change we will take it upon ourselves to ensure a transition is seamless for us and our guests.
We are honored to have you join us and are looking forward to a wonderful wedding.
With love,
Keyanna & Ras
